I love a Pink and Gold First Birthday Photos theme.  Keeping it simple and sweet so the little one shines thru is always key to these cake smash sessions.  Mom made this gorgeous cake…how talented is she!  I had big hopes of learning to decorate cakes…but that was not a skill I had the patients for.  I just wanted to eat the frosting!

Can you see that frosting on her little toe!  I just love it!

I love capturing some simple set ups as well during the first birthday shoot.  Their sweet profile, their new standing skills…laughing in the rocking horse!

We photograph first birthday sessions starting from 11 months up to about 15 months sometimes…so its not too late if you have missed it! 🙂
