This fall almost ALL of my babies (I say mine…my clients I mean) were being born WEEKS early…Arianna however did not want to be the norm…she wanted to be different…and she made her mommy and daddy wait. So not nice to mommy and daddy Arianna…but we won’t mention it again! HA! However, Miss Ari was soo worth the wait. How sweet is this face…these cheeks…these lips! In the words of Rachel Zoe “I die”. LOVE IT!

When booking a newborn session I pencil in mommy’s due date. I then ask mommy to text, call, or email me to let me know when the little one has arrived. It is very important to contact me as soon as possible after baby arrives (ok…not like AS SOON as she is born…but at least while you are still in the hospital). Scheduling can get tight…especially when babies are in control…and born early…or arrive late. Because I want to photograph the little ones in the first 14 days…typically between 7 and 12…it is a necessity to schedule the shoot date right away! I will often times check in with my mommy’s as it gets closer to due dates. This day and age doctors will often give induction dates, schedule early c-sections, and maybe not tell us anything at all. But it helps me to stay prepared when I have an idea of how things are going!
