CANDY SHOPPE MINIS {Kansas City Area Childrens Photographer}

I am THRILLED to announce that we will be having CANDY SHOPPE minis!  I have been planning these sessions in my head for TWO years…and they are finally coming to light!!  It is not such a hidden fact that I LOVE LOVE LOVE candy!  Sugar candy that is.  I am not a huge chocolate girl…but give me some sweet tarts and I am in heaven.  This started long ago when I was young…I used to ask my mom for candy in the check out lane (what kid doesn’t right?), of course she typically said no.  Then there was this one time that she said…if you can buy it you can have it.  THAT WAS IT FOR ME…all my money was going to candy! 🙂

So I have gone thru many many phases and loves of different candies.  In middle school it was plain sweet tarts…the kind in the box…they were softer than the roll kind.  Then in college it was sour patch kids!  Then when I got out of school and landed a job I moved up in the world and graduated to Jelly Bellies.  After about two years of those…I moved on to Gummy Worms.  Not just any Gummy worms they had to be Brach’s.  This was good though…cause only certain stores had them which helped limit my intake.  Now…I am back to sweet tarts…but not just any…I want the sweet tart pacifiers that they sell only at Candy Stores.  THIS is what leads us to today…and these very special candy mini sessions!

I found out that Palmer’s Candies and Ice Cream had these little treasures…and I would go in and purchase a pound every week or so.  After about a month or two I walked in while the owner was working.  When I asked for the candies I saw an almost relief go across her face.  She said “do you come in here a lot and buy these?”  I of course had to admit my problem…she was just happy to find out that her employees where telling the truth and not sneaking the candies since they all of a sudden had been going thru so many!!  And that is how Luann and I met…and have created a friendship thru candy!! 🙂

So needless to say the Candy Shoppe Minis will be hosted at Palmer’s Candies and Ice Cream at the Legends!

These sessions are 15 minute sessions with up to two children.  The sessions are $225 with $25 being donated to the KB Strong Foundation and their efforts to support the Ronald McDonald House.  With the session you will receive a 8 to 10 digital images with the reprint license to print up to size 8×10…and maybe a piece of candy or two…if I don’t eat it all first! 🙂
