This little man arrived to me from several different people! His parents both worked with my cousin…and his mommy also had another contact that had recommend Melissa Rieke Photography! How cool is that! I love it when clients find me…and when they find me thru multiple contacts even better!

I don’t know if I have mentioned how much I love photographing newborns and why? I am sure I have…but I am going to again anyway! I adore newborns. When I was young I played with babies…not with barbies. I have always wanted lots of kiddos..which for me topped out at 3. When I started my journey into photography as a business…it was Wills (my faux little sisters baby) that lead me to the point to say I AM IN BUSINESS…THIS IS what I want to do. From the beginning newborns have been my focus and my love. I am so blessed that parents choose me and trust me with their most valuable and priceless love. I am blessed that they choose me to capture those tiny little toes, that sweet faux hawk, those pursed up lips, the tiny bit of hair on their ears, a small grin, and just the NEWNESS of being a newborn. I am blessed that parents get themselves up and out of the house to come into my studio in those first few days…and blessed that they see the importance of these images! It is a love…it is a passion…it is my world.
