Mommy and Me Minis

We started last week with the most gloriously beautiful day! The best part was it was also Mother’s Day Mini Session day at Nelson Atkins Museum and the landscape didn’t disappoint. There is nothing better than Mommy and Me Mini Sessions! I love capturing that connection between mom and child…even when they are wanting to be chased and snuggled!
I was planning for the lines of trees to be blooming in white blooms…but they had already turned to green. So initially I was disappointed until I found the most magical section of red buds in full beautiful bloom. Truly magical this day was!
Modern Potting Shed
It was more fun than you can imagine building this set…and even more fun capturing the kids with their moms! And…I kept these plants alive for a month! I know…I can’t believe it either!
