I love it when expecting parents come to Melissa Rieke Photography and allow me the privilege to not only capture their newborn’s pictures, but also their maternity one’s too! What a darling couple, right?! Prego bellies are so lovely and special, they deserve their own moments in the spotlight as well  😉

Love Sloan’s perfect head, beautiful skin and feminine little features. Seems strange, but there are times it seems I can ‘see’ a newborn’s personality during a session.  Crazy to think, at just days old and, for the most part, sound asleep, this could be possible.  Still, there is something about certain newborns that says, “This is who I am” loud and clear.  I’d bet this precious little beauty will grow to be delicate in nature, quiet and kind. Hmmm…. a crystal ball would be nice, just to see if I’m even close!  hehehe
